Infants Program
As children grow, they will be discovering things
using all five senses. This program builds on the fine and
gross motor skills being developed during the first year
allowing for exploration and play in a safe, responsive
setting. We interact with them allowing them to copy simple
actions of the people around them. We have them
experimenting with toy instruments, exploring textures,
colors, and learning a variety of words and sounds through
playing with other children. Infants will begin making early
attempts at speaking by learning to understand a wide
variety of words by listening, observing, and engaging. We
will further interact by using sounds and gestures to
express needs, wants, and interests. We will further
incorporate their leaning by having the children listen to
books read aloud.
